The St. Louis Thomas More Association is a non-profit organization established by a group of Catholic lawyers in St. Louis. Its founding mission is to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, and professional development of its members while providing valuable service to the Roman Catholic Church in Missouri. The association is dedicated to instilling the intellectual, spiritual, and moral qualities embodied in the life of its Patron Saint, Thomas More. Although there is no formal national affiliation, various St. Thomas More Associations independently support Catholic lawyers across the United States, just like our own in St. Louis.
The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis
The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), founded in 1874, is a Missouri not-for-profit corporation, the members of which are attorneys principally practicing in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
I am General Counsel to a small college. We have used Mr. Vilbig on many occasions to assist our benefactors to complete complicated charitable gifts to the college in their estate plans. I was at a "brown bag" lunch and heard about the difference between Wills and Trust. I had a Will but realized I needed a Trust.
