Fred Vilbig

“My purpose is to help people during the most difficult times of their lives, and prepare to empower them with the tools for a secure future. 

Fred L. Vilbig is a St. Louis Attorney with over 30 years of experience in representing individuals and businesses in the areas of estate and business planning, corporate law, and real estate transactions. Mr. Vilbig lives in West St. Louis County.

He has served on numerous civic and nonprofit boards. He is a past Ellisville City Councilman, and he currently serves as the Chairman of the Ellisville Board of Adjustment, which handles variances for the city of Ellisville. He is the president of the St. Thomas More Society, the St. Louis Catholic lawyer's association. In addition, he is currently a member of the Covenant Network (Catholic Radio) Finance Committee. Mr. Vilbig has also served as a member of the Advisory Committee for In Trust magazine out of Baltimore, Maryland; as a member and the chair of the Board of Trustees of Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis; and as a member and the president of the St. Louis Archdiocesan Board of Education.

Mr. Vilbig is also a frequent speaker on legal topics. He has been a guest lecturer in the MBA program at the University of Missouri – St. Louis and at Lindenwood University; he was a regular presenter at the National Catholic Education Association annual convention on the topic of using estate planning in fundraising; and he frequently gives continuing education programs for other lawyers on various topics, including estate planning, business law, and nonprofit organizations. In addition, Mr. Vilbig makes presentations to the clients of financial planners and CPAs to help them to better understand how the law affects them.
